To provide junior golfers under the age of 17 an opportunity to learn and play the game of golf in an exciting, safe and knowledgeable learning environment where they can experience sportsmanship, self-respect, patience, discipline and long lasting friendships while learning the skills to play the game of golf.

WHAT

JUNIOR GOLF ACADEMY (JGA) is our weekly Junior Golf Program offering classes for all junior golfers levels Beginner through Competitive ages 6-17. As junior golfers move through the JGA-BEGINNER (RED HATS) and JGA-INTERMEDIATE (GREEN HATS), he/she has a chance to earn colored PINS signifying skill accomplishment. Students earn a PIN to attach to their hat upon completion of skills including KNOWLEDGE, FULL-SWING, AROUND THE GREEN, PUTTING AND SCORING. Once all PINS are earned, the junior must shoot a 9-hole target score from the appropriate tee to earn MASTER LEVEL PIN to advance to the next level. JGA-ADVANCED (BLACK HATS) is a level for competitive junior high school and high school players.

WHO

JGA-BEGINNER (JGA-B)
Qualifications: Has not played nine holes or kept score/No prior lesson experience/ Limited or no range experience
Program: To introduce golf to juniors and encourage fun.

JGA-INTERMEDIATE (JGA-I)
Qualifications: Hits on range/Plays golf keeping score. Attended previous instruction, clinics, camps
Program: To offer instruction and supervised practice to junior golfers who have ambition to play competitive golf and to develop their overall knowledge and skill of the game of golf. Various topics covered include full-swing/short game/pre-shot routine/rules and etiquette/introduction to course management-etc.

JGA-ADVANCED (JGA-A)
Qualifications: Hits on range/Plays golf keeping score (9 and/or 18 holes)/Scores under 110 for 18 holes from appropriate tees/Is currently competitive or on a team.
Program: Offers instruction and supervised practice to competitive junior golfers. Training includes on-course management, play, short game training, scoring, Trackman swing analysis, TPI Flexibility, Balance & Core Training, and Video Swing Analysis.

JGA-ADVANCED:
STARTS JANUARY 2019

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This comprehensive program includes skill building for pitching, chipping, sand, putting, full-swing and on-course play. This program also covers nutrition, golf fitness and rules and etiquette. All components are taught in a fun learning environment and at the discretion of the coaching staff. Class Fees + a 3% processing fee will be due at the 1st of every service month. One time $49 registration fee includes all PINS earned and uniform hat. Next Level Fee of $22 due upon level advancement. All participants must adhere to the dress code. If you choose to be billed month-to-month, you will be placed on an easy-pay system and will be charged at the beginning of each month. If you do not wish to participate one month, please let us know PRIOR to fees processed. If you let us know after, the amount will sit as a credit for you in our system to be used within 6 months for instructional services. The kids are off for most school holiday schedules. Not all holiday schedules align with all of our junior golfers school schedules. Some classes may be indoor. There are no make-ups or reimbursements for inclement weather cancellations, any missed classes or for any other reason.

DRESS CODE: Collared or scoop neck shirt, pants/shorts/skorts, belt (if bottoms have belt loops) no denim, socks, tennis or golf shoes, boys-shirts are to be tucked in at all times. A sweater and/or jacket can be worn over collared shirt. Rain pants may be worn as well over pants/shorts. Bring Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Snacks, Drinks. All students are required to have their own set of clubs. We can help your purchase with 10% off through US Kids Golf.

Registration Fees are included with initial payment of first month. This includes earned PINS and uniform hat.

All registrations will fill out an EASYPAY form at the first class. Participants will be automatically charged monthly on the card provided on the EASYPAY form. We also ask a parent or guardian to sign a waiver at the first class.
